Leonardo Augusto Bonifácio (born 14 January 1983), aka Léo Bonfim, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Boavista F.C. in Portugal, as a central defender.
After playing in the youth teams of Cruzeiro and Vila Nova, he begin his senior career in 2002 playing with Serra FC.
In 2006 he played with Portuguesa in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, moving to same level Ceará for the next season.
During the winter break of the 2007-08 season, Portuguese Liga side Vitória Setúbal brought him to his ranks, however in the following summer he moved to Gondomar playing in the Liga de Honra.
In summer 2009 he signed with Olimpija Ljubljana playing in the Slovenian First League, but after that season he returned to Portugal signing with Boavista F.C..
